have you ever felt cornered?
by God?
you are in a desperate situation that involves another human and your decision whether to help or not can alter the situation considerably. you have no one to ask for advise, simply cos the problem is too complicated to explain and even if u do manage to explain, the listener may not comprehend and give the ans "ignore it, someone else can help" and it happens u are that someone else that God wants to use. and a naggy feeling just keep telling u... follow God. and often that feeling means that ur decision to help will be of inconvenience and perhaps even a pinch. in the wallet. Money really is the push or pull factor. to help or not to. u had to make a choice there and then. especially if its a large sum. trust me, you'll be lost. loads of qn will flood ur mind. is this what God wants me to do? am i being decieved? what if i dont get that $$ back? who can i turn to for help? "i cant let anyone know this...."

this is exactly when we lean on God. 7 And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus. Phil 4:7 peace i felt. in fact my heartbeat excelerated. wats weird? i felt joyful in lending the cash. I accessed my own $$ status and saw that its permissible. And both devotionals i read that day had the same theme of helping our brothers and sis in Christ with Christ's love. coincidence? i've certainly met God that day. and so i went ahead to help.

perhaps its good to be cornered sometimes. by God of cos.

our encounters with God is also meant for sharing. that the affirming presence of God and Him involving us in His divine work be shared with fellow christians and pre-believers. the response and comments can be refreshing and encouraging. yet not fall into the trap and remember glory be to God, not to self.

We shouldnt worship to man made idols or representations of God, lest its used to symbolise God's grace, mercy,love. God's glory and power is so vast and great that, its demeaning to worship to an image of God which is not at all a full representation of Him. We should go directly to the source, God Himself.
